Ishshah’s Place is a sanctuary for survivors of domestic abuse and intimate partner violence (IPV), providing a safe space for healing, restoration, and empowerment. Through holistic support and resources, we help survivors reclaim their lives and move forward with dignity.
Domestic violence affects all communities, but BIPOC women face it disproportionately, with 1 in 3 experiencing IPV and 45.1% of Black women impacted. At Ishshah’s Place, we are committed to empowering women and youth in marginalized communities through IPV prevention, survivor support, and resources for self-sufficiency.

At Ishshah’s Place, we provide a range of holistic services designed to support survivors of domestic abuse and intimate partner violence (IPV) on their journey to healing and independence. Our programs focus on safety, stability, and empowerment, ensuring that survivors have the resources they need to reclaim their lives with dignity.

Emergency Shelter for Survivors
Ishshah’s Place is committed to providing emergency shelter beds for women and their children escaping domestic violence. Our temporary housing offers a secure and supportive environment for short-term stays, ensuring immediate safety and stability as survivors take the first steps on their healing journey.

Empowerment Through Education & Employment
We equip survivors with job readiness skills, including resume writing, job search assistance, and interview preparation. We also connect them with GED programs and continuing education. Additionally, we provide training workshops for faith-based and community organizations.
