This Giving Tuesday, help Ishshah’s Place in our mission to bring healing, safety, and support to women and girls surviving intimate partner violence. As we step into the season of giving, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support of Ishshah’s Place. With Giving Tuesday upon us, we invite you to join us in making an even greater impact this year.

Holidays can be one of the most difficult times for survivors to gain access to resources and maintain safety. Holidays for many are a time of joy, and laughter, and love with family and friends, however, for women and girls who live in the isolation of abuse, this is often a time of increased stressors that lead to increased rates and incidents of domestic violence.

Ishshah’s Place-The Woman’s-Place, by design is a refuge, a place that seeks to meet the needs of and affirm the value of women and girls who are surviving the perils of Intimate Partner Violence.

• Survivor support services, which include crisis intervention, safety planning, emergency shelter, food, clothing, and wrap-around services

• Teen Prevention initiatives such as dating violence awareness, healthy and unhealthy relationships, and conflict management

• Safe Sanctuaries in faith-based institutions with domestic violence technical assistance, training, and resources to meet the needs of the communities and neighborhoods in which they serve
