Founder & CEO
Beverly A. Reddy, M.Div., BSBM
Director, Kennedy Krieger Institute

Beverly A. Reddy is the Founder and Visionary of Ishshah’s Place, Inc., a refuge for
survivors of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) designed to promote holistic lifestyle transformations. She
is a native Baltimorean and graduate of the Baltimore City Public Schools. She also holds a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Business Management, a Master of Divinity degree, and is an MBA

Financial Services and Insurance Contracting at the Kennedy Krieger Institute where for more than 30
years she has dedicated her service to helping children with disorders of the brain.

Moreover, she is a licensed and ordained minister, called of God specifically to a ministry of
helping women who suffer abuse to discover their joy and live the abundant life made possible through
Christ. A Survivor of domestic violence and strong Advocate for Victims and Survivors of IPV,
she launched the Healing Hurts Domestic Violence Ministry of the Mount Lebanon Baptist Church. There, she provides support to survivors, and education to church and community about the effects of domestic violence.

Beverly also serves on the Survivors Advisory Board of the Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence State Fatality Review Team as well as the Survivor Advisory Board of the Domestic Violence Resource for Increasing Safety and Connection (DV RISC)-an initiative funded by the U.S. Department of Justice's Office on Violence Against Women (OVW).

Called to this work, she credits the faithfulness of God in establishing Ishshah’s Place; transitional housing and support services for survivors of IPV; incorporated in September 2021.  Beverly loves the Lord and is proud mother to Tiffany and Brian, and grandmother to Alayna. She enjoys
spending quality time with her family and daily seeks a closer walk with her God.
